Has a space ever been so well lit that you became inspired by it? Have you ever come across a light fixture that immediately sparked your interest and triggered inspiration? Today we are sharing from the Design Sherpa “What Inspires You?” contest. The entry by Ray Evans of iDesign, Inc. shares how lighting is a source of inspiration:iDesign light inspiration

The use of Light and form really inspires me. It is a universal theme, Light photons spend millions of years waiting to sprint from our Sun’s core and bounce off objects on our world. Creating shadows that play hide and seek with forms, playing tricks on our eyes or simply suggesting the need to explore more. Light tells us if the space is about fun, spiritual awareness, or serious business. Light guides us to areas of enlightenment or tells us to be cautious. I am inspired to “Light” up the world with form and function. Even when light is artificial.

Have you ever been inspired by lighting, if so when and by what?
