- Create indirect light by layering and angling light sources to lessen the amount of stress on your eyes when searching for the brightest area.
- Wash the walls with light to prevent your eye from straining which occurs from the contrast of a bright computer screen and dim space.
- Avoid glare and shadows by placing task lighting on the side of your desk, on the opposite side that your write on.
- Remember that the color of your room and the furniture will also dictate your lighting needs. Light colored offices don’t need as much intensity from lighting as dark offices or those with dark furniture.
